Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
  5. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  9. Mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth to create the glaze.
  10. Spread the glaze over the cooled brownies and let it set before slicing and serving.
