Description

A refreshing mango smoothie blended with chilled green tea for a light, naturally sweet drink. Perfect for a quick, energizing boost.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes (or 2 cups frozen mango)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the tea bags to the hot water and place in the freezer to cool while preparing the rest of the smoothie.
  2. Peel the mangoes, remove the pit, and place the flesh in a blender. Add the ice, frozen banana, and honey if using.
  3. Remove the tea from the freezer, discard the tea bags, and pour the cooled tea into the blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen mango for a thicker, colder smoothie.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Substitute banana with yogurt for a creamier texture.
  • Best enjoyed fresh; not ideal for long storage.
