Description
A refreshing mango smoothie blended with chilled green tea for a light, naturally sweet drink. Perfect for a quick, energizing boost.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes (or 2 cups frozen mango)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 green tea bags
- 2 cups ice
- 1/2 frozen banana
- honey (optional)
Instructions
- Add the tea bags to the hot water and place in the freezer to cool while preparing the rest of the smoothie.
- Peel the mangoes, remove the pit, and place the flesh in a blender. Add the ice, frozen banana, and honey if using.
- Remove the tea from the freezer, discard the tea bags, and pour the cooled tea into the blender.
- Blend until smooth and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen mango for a thicker, colder smoothie.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Substitute banana with yogurt for a creamier texture.
- Best enjoyed fresh; not ideal for long storage.
