A rich and warming Mexican mocha with hints of chocolate, cinnamon, and a subtle kick of spice. Perfect for a quick, cozy coffee treat.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces strong coffee (or two shots espresso)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 13 tablespoons heavy cream (or half & half)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  2. Pour the hot coffee into a large mug and stir in the cocoa mixture until fully dissolved and smooth.
  3. Add heavy cream or half & half to taste, stir, and serve immediately.
