Description

A comforting old-fashioned hamburger casserole made with seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, creamy sauce, and melted cheese. This hearty baked dish is an easy family dinner classic packed with cozy flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a casserole dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.

  6. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes, and sour cream until combined.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and half of the shredded cheese to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
