Description

This pickle pizza is loaded with creamy ranch dressing, gooey mozzarella cheese, smoky turkey, crispy turkey bacon, and tangy dill pickles. It is a quick and flavorful twist on classic pizza night with a crispy crust and bold savory flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 10 slices smoked turkey
  • 68 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F. Roll out the pizza dough onto a pizza stone, baking sheet, or pizza paddle into a large circle shape.
  2. Spread the ranch dressing evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  3. Top with 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese. Add the smoked turkey, crumbled turkey bacon, and dill pickle slices evenly across the pizza.
  4. Pat the pickle slices dry with a paper towel before adding them to prevent excess moisture on the pizza.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce after baking.
  • Swap the ranch dressing for garlic sauce or Alfredo sauce for a different flavor base.
  • Use cheddar cheese or a mozzarella-cheddar blend for a sharper cheesy flavor.
  • Add thinly sliced red onions for extra crunch and flavor.
  • For a vegetarian option, skip the meat and add extra pickles or vegetables like mushrooms and bell peppers.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a skillet or 375°F oven for the crispiest crust.
  • Avoid freezing if possible, as the pickles can become watery after thawing.
