Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into finger-sized sticks

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into thin finger-shaped sticks.
- Soak the potato sticks in cold water for 15 minutes, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the potato sticks in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4 to 5 minutes per batch.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle with olive oil if desired and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double fry the potatoes.
