Description
This creamy pumpkin spice steamer is a cozy fall drink made with pumpkin puree, warm spices, and rich milk. It’s smooth, comforting, and perfect for chilly evenings.
Ingredients
- 3 cups milk (2% or whole)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (100% pure pumpkin)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- whipped cream
- ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Blend the milk, heavy whipping cream, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth and frothy.
- Pour the mixture into a large pot and heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
- Pour the warm steamer into mugs.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon before serving.
Notes
- Whole milk creates the creamiest texture, but 2% milk works well too.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut milk and dairy-free whipped topping.
- Adjust the pumpkin pie spice to taste for a stronger spice flavor.
- Serve immediately while warm and frothy.
