Description

This creamy pumpkin spice steamer is a cozy fall drink made with pumpkin puree, warm spices, and rich milk. It’s smooth, comforting, and perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk (2% or whole)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (100% pure pumpkin)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • whipped cream
  • ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Blend the milk, heavy whipping cream, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large pot and heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
  3. Pour the warm steamer into mugs.
  4. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon before serving.

Notes

  • Whole milk creates the creamiest texture, but 2% milk works well too.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut milk and dairy-free whipped topping.
  • Adjust the pumpkin pie spice to taste for a stronger spice flavor.
  • Serve immediately while warm and frothy.
