Description

Soft, gooey scoopable chocolate chip cookies that are easy to serve and packed with rich chocolate flavor. Perfect for sharing straight from the pan.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish or skillet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared dish.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set but still soft.
  9. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, cool slightly, and serve warm.
