Description

A creamy, naturally sweet strawberry cream cheese frosting made with fresh strawberries and perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the finely chopped strawberries and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating on low speed until desired sweetness and thickness are reached.
  4. Increase speed to medium-high and beat until the frosting is light and fluffy.
  5. Use immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes, or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese and butter are fully softened for a smooth texture.
  • If frosting becomes too thin, add more powdered sugar to thicken.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
  • Bring to room temperature and re-whip before using for best consistency.
