Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into equal rectangles or squares.
- Place pastry pieces on the prepared baking sheet and lightly score a border around each piece without cutting through.
- Brush edges with beaten egg.
