Description

This homemade wassail mix is a warm and comforting drink blend with citrus and spice flavors. Perfect for holiday gatherings, gifting, or cozy winter evenings.


Ingredients

  • 20 ounces dry Tang powder
  • 2 packets lemonade Kool-Aid, dry
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the Tang powder with the vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add the remaining Tang powder, lemonade Kool-Aid, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Stir thoroughly until evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container for storage.
  4. To serve, stir 2 to 3 heaping spoonfuls of the mix into an 8-ounce mug of hot water until dissolved.
