Description
These homemade White Castle sliders are savory, cheesy, and packed with classic diner-style flavor. Perfect for parties or family dinners, they feature seasoned beef, melty cheese, and soft slider buns.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 (2-ounce) packet Lipton soup mix
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 12 cheese slices
- 12 slider rolls
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and set aside a half sheet baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton soup mix, peanut butter, and milk. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly onto the baking sheet. Use a rolling pin or spatula to smooth the surface.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the pan briefly and place the chopped onions around the edges of the meat. Return to the oven and bake for 15 more minutes.
- Remove from the oven and spread the cooked onions over the top of the meat. Layer the cheese slices evenly over the meat and bake for another 7 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Place the tops of the slider rolls over the melted cheese and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cut the meat into individual slider portions using a pizza cutter. Transfer each portion with the top bun onto the bottom slider buns and serve warm.
Notes
- Use American cheese, Velveeta slices, or cheddar for the classic slider flavor.
- Serve with pickles and mustard for a more authentic White Castle-style experience.
- These sliders are great for game days and parties.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat before serving.
