Description

Ingredients
- 500 g wild mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and cut into large pieces if needed.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté in the pan until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and begin to brown.
- Season with salt, pepper, and thyme, stirring occasionally.
- Add the butter and continue cooking until the mushrooms are nicely caramelized.
- Finish with fresh parsley and lemon juice, then mix well.
- Serve warm as a side dish or light main.
Notes
- You can use a mix of cultivated mushrooms if wild mushrooms are unavailable.
- Serve with crusty bread or alongside grilled meats.
- A splash of white wine can be added during cooking for extra flavor.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
